Painting landscape on porcelain
Yang Shuhua works across vessels, plates, and porcelain panels, using cobalt washes, calligraphic line, and open white space to translate landscape painting onto fired surfaces.
The supplied studio archive records complete objects alongside inscriptions, marks, working context, and presentation details. This documentation allows each work to be considered as both a painting and a functional or sculptural form.
